Hey all-
Its been a crazy month. It all comes down to these next couple weeks. Almost all the music is written, the demos are made, the musicians have been contacted, and the studio is (hopefully) being scheduled. There have been moments of joy and many of frustration. But I am so thankful to God for this amazing opportunity to even be here writing music. The album will be a 6 song EP titled "These Nights."
I wanted to take a moment to let you in on the story behind the album:
Life is crazy. It moves by so fast. We get busy with jobs and school and bills and friends and fun and work. How often do we take time to slow down and enjoy the moments we are so graciously given? Tonight is a gift. Tonight is precious. Tonight shouldn't be wasted because we will never get another chance to live this night. Its the only "tonight" we have. Why not live it to its fullest? We are given so much beauty: sunsets, skylines, friends, fireflies (the bug, not the hit song by Owl City!), and family. If we only get one take on each night (or day) of our lives, we better get it right. Life is too short to waste.
Live it.
The album basically just tells my heart: a huge appreciation for the time God has given where I am. I hope that you can relate.
